My engine died within 12 hours of picking it up from this mechanic. Additional issues were not communicated causing significant damage. Do not take your car here.

Very happy with the service. Any issues with the car, they will call to explain the problem and possible consequences if vital maintenance isn't done. No pressure, up to the client. Fully transparent and honest, been dealing with Bexley Tyres and Auto for quite a few years now and cannot fault their service.

As always, I am quite happy with the work done by this business.

Only one criticism and that’s to do with the courtesy bus. There was no information given as to where the bus ran and at what times. Just a small thing but I feel it’s an easy fix.

Quoted and trying to charge me what has not been done. This used to be a good workshop no longer. Following up, PMA called and wanted me to take down the review, and if I do that they will offer me free service. I forgot to mention, the car oil was still black the same day I picked it up, and white smoke came out from the exhaust. I immediately drove back and they told me it’s just diesel being dirty. But I remembered previously  I had the car serviced with them(before they moved shop and got more staffs more cranes) the oil is always clear the day I picked it up. Hence why I said was a good shop but no more. So I will keep the review up and not take the offered "free service" It’s my genuine experience.

Paul and his team were very friendly and informative. I shopped around on price for the job I required doing, and they were very competitive. I would definitely recommend them.

Asked for a full car service and to fix noises. Yes, the workman fixed my engine leaks but my brakes are stuffed. When I asked about brakes workman said they were fine. My car is getting fixed again by another mechanic. The duty of care was not given. His job was to tell me about brake pads, that's what a car service is for.

This is a fantastic mechanic, great service, very professional and always make everything so easy. They charge very reasonable prices for the work on your car and are always on time. I highly recommend this business.

I've been using Glenn from Allan Stratton Automotive for a few years now and find his workmanship and service excellent and highly recommend.

M & R Auto Care are a great one stop shop for my car servicing and repairs. This makes it quicker as I don't have to worry about them sending my car elsewhere for a wheel alignment and tyres, or having someone come and do brakes and that sort of thing. I just drop it off early in the morning and they call or message me to say come and pick it up. If only all businesses were this easy to deal with.

The mechanics were great and the gentleman that contacted me to discuss repairs was great. The Indian man that assisted me when I picked the car up was rude, mumbled when he spoke to me, dismissed me and did not answer my questions. It was almost like he wanted to be rid of me.

Car completed on time and at the price quoted. I also purchased a new set of tires based on their recommendation at a very competitive price.

Took my car in for a logbook service they did the bare minimum. Never had a problem with my car and after this service, I’m now having to pay another $400 elsewhere to fix my car. They want to charge me an extra $200 on top of the $360 I already paid for them to do half the required service. They are out in the industrial part of Cairns with zero public transport and no way to get home and they were only happy to have me waiting on the footpath for the day. Had me booked in for 8:30 am assured me I would have my car back by 12 lunchtime. Didn’t get it back until almost 2 pm and stuffed around school pickup. Would not recommend it at all it’s costing us more than it should in fixing my car now.

This is the service provider you can trust. Service was completed on time, was thorough and reasonably priced.
