Horrible experience! Dropped the car off and told them what I needed fixed, went to collect the car the next day and the car was exactly the same. Troy was then saying how it took him 2h30m to do - CO2 test - diagnose cam sensors as a problem - Tell me I may or may not have a cracked head. Turns Out - I don't understand how Troy can do a CO2 test and still know the same as before. Cam Sensors were not the problem, luckily other mechanics refunded me for the new cam sensors and only charged labor to put in and remove them (15 minutes!). Then tells me troy had got it wrong and this is not an uncommon occurrence. The other mechanic said the head was definitely cracked, Troy would have known. My conclusion! Stay Away From Gladstone Fleet Maintenance. Troy and his team will happily take you as far as they can to get as much as they can and do the least.

Hi Jesse, Thank you for your feedback, we always appreciate them whether positive or negative. I would like to make a couple of points that you seem to have missed in your review. 1st Point - The vehicle was booked in by your wife with 3 suspected leaks – thermostat housing, water pump, and head gasket. 2nd Point - When the vehicle was dropped off the car had no fuel and a starting issue to be diagnosed. 3rd Point - The vehicle would not start after being dropped off. We have had to diagnose it first and found a CAM sensor fault. When removing the CAM Sensor, we found milky engine oil on the end of it – which explains why it was not reading properly, we cleaned it up, and was ok. We got the vehicle started after 30 mins without supplying or fitting a part. We then did a coolant pressure test and found the header tank to be cracked & the thermostat leaking. A CO2 test confirmed exhaust gases in the cooling system. A phone call was made with the findings to your wife who was aware and accepting of the report. We were told no further work was to be carried out. When you collected the vehicle, you would not listen to our staff with the findings, saying you were under the impression the vehicle was brought in for the thermostat housing leak only. You would not listen to what we had diagnosed, and what was requested to do by your wife. You were very abusive, rude, and irate towards one of our female staff members, not to mention the foul language you used in front of the owner's 3-year-old child and your own child for that matter. No one ever deserves to come to work and receive abuse from a member of the public for doing their job. All the abuse our staff endured by you that day was captured on one of our many security cameras. Once again we do thank you for your feedback, and we are only too happy to help those who address the situation with a friendly approach.
