I am wary of mechanics, having had some less than happy experiences in the past, but Stubbs Automotive are very good. They listened to what we wanted and are very knowledgable.
I had been give advice that my wife's car needed a timing chain and Stubbs proceeded on that advice. However once the car was in the workshop they discovered there was no issue with the chain or guides so did not make any repairs to that. After further checking it was found to be the Vanos unit. Stubbs went the extra distance to keep me informed, and the work proceeded after some difficulty in locating the parts required.
I am very pleased with the service and quality of work performed by Stubbs Automotive and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Price was way more than quoted
Not shore what has happen inspection only fee was $110.00 . window regulator motor was the problem so we quoted for new regulator $250.00 plus $55.00 to fit new window regulator witch we rang and told the client the cost of the regulator and fitting fee was $305.00 plus inspection fee $ 110.00 total $415.00 not shore how it was over quoted thanks stephen
