S.P.A. Launches Maint-Assist To Drive More Savings For Customers

Salary Packaging Australia has launched an innovative vehicle maintenance program to deliver customers a greater choice of repairers, bigger fleet discounts, and more transparency on scheduled servicing, repairs, tyres, batteries and windscreens.

Maint-Assist, powered by AutoGuru, provides S.P.A. customers with an easy-to-install digital pass that they download to their digital Apple or Google Wallet to unlock fleet discounts at thousands of automotive repairers nationwide.

This emerging technology was developed by AutoGuru, specifically for fleet management and salary packaging companies to enhance the way their customers book and pay for vehicle maintenance and repairs.

“The process could not be easier”, says Jaime Wood, General Manager of S.P.A. “Our customers can book any authorised repairer featured on the S.P.A. Merchant Finder, and simply show their Maint-Assist Digital Pass when they arrive, and repairers know to submit their quote via FleetGuru for S.P.A's approval.”

Because S.P.A. pays the supplier directly through FleetGuru, S.P.A. customers get the VIP treatment with nothing to pay on the day, and tax-compliant receipts are automatically reconciled against the customer’s payroll contributions* with a clear indication of what the customer paid.

FleetGuru is a web portal that was originally developed to digitise maintenance approvals and supplier payments for one of Australia’s leading fuel cards. The portal uses vehicle repair times data, pre-negotiated supplier labour rates, and parts pricing to calculate maintenance quotes digitally, which are easily submitted to fleet controllers for faster approval and payment online. 

Over 8,600 car dealerships, tyre and service groups, battery and auto glass chains, and independent repairers have signed up. This includes major brands like mycar Tyre & Auto with over 275 locations across Australia providing a full range of automotive services including scheduled servicing and tyres, and electric vehicle servicing capabilities.
