Yes. For logbook services, the service provider will sign and stamp your logbook to meet manufacturer requirements. If the service provider has not stamped your logbook, please contact them directly to arrange a time for them to stamp your logbook.

If you booked through AutoGuru and your booking has been confirmed, you can reschedule to a new date or time. Simply click the 'manage my booking' link on your booking confirmation email. If you need help email contactus@autoguru.com.au. If you cancel or don't show up and don't reschedule (and you have prepaid in advance), a $20 cancellation fee will apply.

If you’ve booked with a workshop, the service provider will usually require your vehicle for the entire day due to scheduling. If you’ve booked with a mobile provider, you will only be without your vehicle for the time it takes to complete the job. Find out more

Holden Blind Spot Monitoring Sensor Installation

Blind spot monitoring technology features a sensor device that detects when other vehicles are located to the side or rear of your Holden. When the sensor becomes aware of another vehicle it will alert the driver with lights, sound, vibration or even instigate autonomous crash avoidance intervention.

Blind spot technology uses radar, sonar, electromagnetic waves or camera imagery to detect if another vehicle is getting too close to your Holden or if you are about to move into a space that is already occupied.

In some systems, cameras are placed inside side mirrors and relay information to a computer. Other systems use electromagnetic waves that are emitted and which then bounce back off nearby traffic. These are usually mounted on the rear of the Holden. Newer systems use radar or sonar to monitor traffic, warn the driver when necessary and alter a vehicle’s direction if necessary.

Brands like Parkmate, Mongoose, Parkpro, Haodi Australia, Ashley Group can provide blind spot monitoring systems and most will provide installation services or can advise on who can install the system for you. If you do need someone to install a system in your Holden, an auto electrician should be able to do an expert job.
