Yes. For logbook services, the service provider will sign and stamp your logbook to meet manufacturer requirements. If the service provider has not stamped your logbook, please contact them directly to arrange a time for them to stamp your logbook.

If you booked through AutoGuru and your booking has been confirmed, you can reschedule to a new date or time. Simply click the 'manage my booking' link on your booking confirmation email. If you need help email contactus@autoguru.com.au. If you cancel or don't show up and don't reschedule (and you have prepaid in advance), a $20 cancellation fee will apply.

If you’ve booked with a workshop, the service provider will usually require your vehicle for the entire day due to scheduling. If you’ve booked with a mobile provider, you will only be without your vehicle for the time it takes to complete the job. Find out more

For servicing, inspections and select repairs, we can provide instant quotes. However, some tasks require a quote request to be sent to service providers. You will usually receive at least one quote within 24 hours.

When Do Mercedes-Benz Brake Hoses Need to Be Replaced?

Brake fluid is used in hydraulic brake systems on most modern Mercedes-Benz's. The braking system increases the foot force on the brake pedal into pressure applied to the brakes.

Pressurised brake fluid travels through Mercedes-Benz brake lines to the caliper where it forces the brake pads against the spinning brake rotor. Forcing the Mercedes-Benz to slow down or stop.

Your vehicle will have brake lines and or hoses to carry the brake fluid to and from your brake calipers. Since the brake lines/hoses have to withstand pressurised brake fluid you will want them to be in good condition.

If Mercedes-Benz brake lines or hoses get damaged, leak or break it will affect the pressure on the caliper and the brakes may not work at all.

Over time brake lines/hoses can wear out or get damaged. You may notice the brake hoses are hard, dry and cracked or you have a brake fluid leak, this is when the brake hoses will most likely need to be replaced. AutoGuru will be there for you when the time comes to have them replaced.
