Yes. For logbook services, the service provider will sign and stamp your logbook to meet manufacturer requirements. If the service provider has not stamped your logbook, please contact them directly to arrange a time for them to stamp your logbook.

If you booked through AutoGuru and your booking has been confirmed, you can reschedule to a new date or time. Simply click the 'manage my booking' link on your booking confirmation email. If you need help email contactus@autoguru.com.au. If you cancel or don't show up and don't reschedule (and you have prepaid in advance), a $20 cancellation fee will apply.

If you’ve booked with a workshop, the service provider will usually require your vehicle for the entire day due to scheduling. If you’ve booked with a mobile provider, you will only be without your vehicle for the time it takes to complete the job. Find out more

Does My Holden Need a Diesel Intake Clean?

Holden’s that run on diesel fuel can accumulate deposits, such as carbon, resin, fuel & oil residue. Over time these deposits will build up in the Holden’s intake, throttle body and engine. If left to accumulate these nasty deposits can turn into harmful black sludge and impede the airflow and operation of mechanical parts.

Cleaning solvents are used to dissolve and flush the deposits out of the Holden’s intake system and the engine without having to pull everything apart. Over the long term, regular diesel intake cleaning can save time, money and aid in maintaining a Holden’s reliability.

Some benefits of cleaning a Holden’s diesel intake:

When using an intake cleaner on a diesel engine the mechanic will use a cleaner that is safe to use on Holden with exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) and diesel particulate filter (DPF).
