Yes. For logbook services, the service provider will sign and stamp your logbook to meet manufacturer requirements. If the service provider has not stamped your logbook, please contact them directly to arrange a time for them to stamp your logbook.

If you booked through AutoGuru and your booking has been confirmed, you can reschedule to a new date or time. Simply click the 'manage my booking' link on your booking confirmation email. If you’ve booked with a workshop, the service provider will usually require your vehicle for the entire day due to scheduling. If you’ve booked with a mobile provider, you will only be without your vehicle for the time it takes to complete the job. Find out more

The fuel cap (fuel filler cap) has a very important part to play in the operation of a Citroen. Since the 1970s, vehicle manufacturers started to reduce passenger vehicle emissions. One element of achieving this was to reduce the fuel vapour being released from car fuel tanks. Vehicles were fitted with emission control system monitors and an evaporative emission control system (EVAP) which sealed the fuel system, preventing fuel vapour from being released into the atmosphere. Fuel evaporates rapidly and if exposed to air will constantly pollute the environment, even if your Citroen is parked.

Consequently, the importance of the then ‘insignificant’ fuel cap jumped into the spotlight. Now, when your Citroen’s fuel cap fails it can illuminate the vehicle’s check engine light, as the system senses a fuel vapour discharge. Also, if the humble fuel cap is faulty it not only can increase fuel consumption but could also create a potentially dangerous situation should a spark cause ignition from flammable vapour leaking from your Citroen.
