Yes. For logbook services, the service provider will sign and stamp your logbook to meet manufacturer requirements. If the service provider has not stamped your logbook, please contact them directly to arrange a time for them to stamp your logbook.

If you booked through AutoGuru and your booking has been confirmed, you can reschedule to a new date or time. Simply click the 'manage my booking' link on your booking confirmation email. If you need help email contactus@autoguru.com.au. If you cancel or don't show up and don't reschedule (and you have prepaid in advance), a $20 cancellation fee will apply.

If you’ve booked with a workshop, the service provider will usually require your vehicle for the entire day due to scheduling. If you’ve booked with a mobile provider, you will only be without your vehicle for the time it takes to complete the job. Find out more

Why Does My Citroen Power Steering Pump Need to Be Replaced?

The power steering system on your Citroen depends on the power steering pump to work reliably, enabling smooth and easy steering.

When a power steering pump goes your Citroen might start to make funny noises when you turn the steering wheel and start the car, the steering wheel might feel stiff and become harder to use, a warning light might also illuminate in the dash and you may notice a fluid leak around the power steering.

If you feel the steering has changed or there are unusual noises coming from the front of your Citroen it's best to get it inspected sooner rather than later. If your power steering pump is faulty and leaking fluid it will cause heat and friction and eventually failure for the power steering.

Even though a Citroen can still be driven without power steering you will soon learn just how hard it is without it and how much harder it is to dodge something on the road, park the car or drive in the mountains.
