Is Your Citroen in Need of Sunroof Repairs?

The sunroof is a panel that slides out of the way to expose a window in a Citroen’s roof. The window can then either tilt open or completely slide open, allowing the Citroen’s occupants to see outside and/or allow fresh air into the cabin from above.

The sunroof allows the window to be exposed or hidden as per the driver’s preference, so they can control sun exposure and decrease visibility into the Citroen, when required.

The term sunroof can also encapsulate the complete unit, including the glass, track assembly, motor, rails and cover panel.

With sunroofs the longer you leave a problem the more likely it will get worse unless it has failed altogether, then it’s just a hole in the roof that you can’t enjoy. If there is water leakage in a Citroen it could become a health issue. Depending on how bad the leak is, water can cause permanent damage to the interior of the Citroen.

Most importantly, if you ever plan on selling the Citroen, it will be more difficult to sell with a non-functioning sunroof. No one wants to pay for a hole in the roof if they can’t enjoy it.

Which section of the hundreds depends on the issue, which Citroen make and model and what parts are required. If the sunroof needs to be removed from the Citroen it will be a higher cost due to the additional labour involved.
