The sunroof is a panel that slides out of the way to expose a window in a Mazda’s roof. The window can then either tilt open or completely slide open, allowing the Mazda’s occupants to see outside and/or allow fresh air into the cabin from above.

The sunroof allows the window to be exposed or hidden as per the driver’s preference, so they can control sun exposure and decrease visibility into the Mazda, when required.

The term sunroof can also encapsulate the complete unit, including the glass, track assembly, motor, rails and cover panel.

Which section of the hundreds depends on the issue, which Mazda make and model and what parts are required. If the sunroof needs to be removed from the Mazda it will be a higher cost due to the additional labour involved.
