They took money and pretended to do the work.  I paid for the Brake Fluid to be changed and bled. I told them that I had paid for new brakes somewhere else.  I checked the work after it was supposedly performed.  They failed to bleed the breaks and merely added fluid. I rocked up to see the progress and they had the car above their heads and were just talking about life in general. It was a complete waste of time. I would never go back. The worst thing is that I have been a great customer of Midas for many years. This was the second office which failed to give service for payment.

I’d definitely recommend Bostock Mechanical, Adam was polite, professional and kind enough to drive me home so I didn’t have to wait around while my car was serviced. I was impressed with the quick turnaround time and the very reasonable price, plus they accept Afterpay, that was awesome.

Very professional, will be using for all future work on my car.

Always great service, no hidden costs and can book a loan car with no dramas or hassles. Probably been my 5th visit to Midas Burleigh Heads and would recommend them to all. It’s  Really handy that you can drop off at 8am and still get to work with the loan vehicle supplied.

We use Midas Burleigh Heads all the time for my cars, never had an issue.

The whole overall experience was not good and was a waste of time and money. The notes on my receipt stated that there was a suspended noise. I never mentioned a noise. My issue was that the rear of the car was sitting much lower than it was. Basically, I was charged for the mechanic to shine a light in the wheel well and see the front shocks leaking. When I asked about the rear end, it clearly was not even looked at. I asked if bad shocks in the rear would cause it to sag and was told the springs set the ride height. I had already thought that the shocks were bad and were going to replace ALL OF THEM ANYWAY,  but wanted to make sure there was no other issue. Now I am still at square one.

Hi Jason  I'm sorry you feel that way, your car was put up on the hoist, inspected and road tested I was just pointing out the fault with the shocks with the torch to you.  Sorry I've missunderstood your concern of the slightly sagged rear springs I would of been more than happy to quote you on those as well,  as I explained to you the front shocks have totally leaked out and badly needing attention.

Double booked first booking, 2nd booking unable to find on the rescheduled date, booked for the week after and no free diagnostic testing or wheel rotation performed as stipulated in the service which was the reason I booked with Midas in the first place.

Service was prompt and was offered drop off and pick up to/from work.
What for me is the little things, for example my light bar and spot lights were loose and when I came to pick up the car these were tightened and a bolt was replaced without even mentioning it to the service team.

Friendly staff made me feel welcome and that my jeep was in good hands.
