This service lacks professionalism. I was booked in for 8.30 but arrived to find the workshop closed. The staff rolled in 10 minutes late. I requested a service, new brake pads, and a roadworthy as I was selling the car. Despite the fact that the car passed a roadworthy 3000km (2 months) earlier, SJD found multiple issues that they said they could fix however the quotes were huge. Paid for a roadworthy that failed and took the car to another mechanic who looked at the car, and the issues raised by SJD and passed the roadworthy. Although the car isn’t in brand new condition (2018 model), it is roadworthy and safe which is why it passed. SJD was clearly finding ‘issues’ to try and create business. Not ok, do not recommend.

The booking was at 8:30 am, they told me the car will be ready by 10:30, but when I returned at 10:30, they said not even started yet. So I have to wait again until 11:30am to collect. While collecting, I have been waiting for a while and even as it is my turn, I was asked to wait again. So eventually I got my key back at 10 to 12. Then I noticed that I cannot find the logbook in my car, went back and asked, but the receptionist forgot to return the logbook to me. I then got my logbook, but noticed they filled the incorrect mileage logbook service that we paid and booked for. I went back and asked, and they said these are all the same, but when I was making the booking, the 2 logbook services have different pricing, the one I booked is $80 more expensive, but they insisted the services are all the same. I’m not sure how to complain, as I don’t have much knowledge of cars, maybe shall consider somewhere else in the future.

I was very skeptical about a mobile mechanic and I wasn't wrong. Doing a simple oil change without lubricating all the joints or swapping the tyres is something almost everybody can do at home with minimal tools. Singh might be a descent mechanic but the idea of a mobile van going around & not even being able to go under the car is not efficient.

I was booked in for a service and rego inspection. The car was dropped off at 8:15 am and was available for pick up at 3:00 pm. When we picked up the car, there were a few warning lights on the dashboard and the car felt really jerky to drive. We then brought the car back, and the mechanic cleared the error codes and rectified the issues. The work was carried out in a timely manner - even though there was a slight delay due to supplier issues. However, I am not satisfied with the condition of the car when we picked it up. If they missed the obvious error codes on the dashboard, what else did they miss? I understand that days can get busy, and things do get missed but I have never experienced similar issues with another service provider. Granted, the error codes and the other issues were fixed in the end, but the problems should not have been there in the first place. I will now consider other service providers as I don't think Midas Rouse Hill is thorough enough.

Great customer service and knowledge share before, during and after the service.

Problem was clearly described as metal on metal and the attending mechanic didn’t figure out what was needed and brought nothing. They then charged me $115 for literally nothing. They then texted me, okay. We can do the rotors a few days later. I replied in minutes, only for them to ignore me for half a day and then tell me I have to do it in a week. OK. So I go okay, let’s book Monday in and let me know if Saturday is available. Turns out I don’t even have Monday and they want me to wait even more time. Also, the customer service agent has no idea how to speak to customers and fails across the board on customer service. Just take it to a mechanic.

Communication was fantastic Price was good. They picked my vehicle up and delivered it back to me. I'll be definitely using there services again.

In many respects my experience was fine. He was a nice guy; we had a good chat about the issues I was having with the A/C etc. He cleaned the filters and made a few other adjustments. But he said he'd fixed the problem and explicitly said there was plenty of gas. The next day it was 35degrees and my A/C was still not working. I took it somewhere else...and they said it needed a gas change. So, yeah not sure what happened there.

Mechanic turned up on time, and did all that was required.

Car was looked at and he had a brief discussion with my wife about what problem was found and advised he will contact me via text which contacts he could refer us to, still no text or contact regarding referral. I would have prefered a receipt with details of what work was carried out and what problem I have with my vehicle therefore I could seek a workshop for repairs.

This is our 2nd maybe 3rd year using Auto Mate and They have never let us down. Extremely efficient and informative. We will continue to use their services. I can’t recommend them enough!
