Noticed my wife's car had a different exhaust/engine sound after a minor logbook service. After 900 odd km, I decided to investigate as the sound was definitely different and the car was now much louder. Discovered the mechanics hadn't clipped the engine air cleaner cover down properly at the back and the engine was breathing in dirty air.

I was happy with all aspects of the service.

The guy was over 1 hr late. Said his van broke down, first red flag and then he tried to get me to get things fixed that were already new. I paid for a filter that was not needed, he wrote a report and I watched him, he did not check the whole car for example he did not check the tyres. He was on the phone most of the time. I am very unhappy with the service.

The mechanic was an awesome guy and did a great job servicing my nissan juke, ill get them to regularly service my cars from now on, their prices for general service is pretty cheap under $200, woohoo.

The workshop manager at Downs Auto Cure has been courteous and helpful from my first contact with him.  He is approachable and easy to speak with, even for a mechanically inept and befuddled 80 year old such as me.  I highly recommend Downs Auto Cure as, compared with some other motor service centers I have tried, they have a friendly, patient, and professional attitude which gives me confidence in their work.

The Guys n Girls there were very friendly n very helpful. Thought I had blown cats n would up to for a bill of 600+. Turns out was broken brackets n lose bolts so the bill was only 100 n had my car bk in a few hrs all while I was at work. Thanks, heaps Guys use are awesome
