Pros: This was the first time I had an independent mechanic service my car so I had high hopes and expectations of the mechanic, their standards and practices. As I do with everything in life. Booked in my Audi A5 for its 105K logbook service. The car is in great condition and should have only needed an oil and filter change and, it did which came to $204.00. The team checked out the car also to let me know the rear number plate light was out but they couldn't change it as they didn't have it in stock. The owner (I assume and whom I dealt with) was very pleasant, straight forward and explained what was done. An in and out the transaction is just the way I like it. An Uber voucher of $10 was also provided as part of the service. Cons: Reception area was very untidy and needed a good clean, everywhere! Same goes for the actual workshop itself. Why this is important is that if you can show good care for your shop and tools, you would then appear to be seen to show good care for my car. My car key, credit card and tax receipt were all handled with dirty greasy hands. Hand/finger grease unsurprisingly was left on my bonnet. Rotation of all 4 tyres wasn't completed despite being requested (visual inspection and tyre TIN's checked). Diagnostics check not completed despite the request, I have an OBD2 reader in the car which was not removed (my reader tells me if it had). Car was not road tested (Odometer and OBD2 check). Hi Rommel, thank you very much for your valuable feedback and at the same time we are really sorry to hear about your bad experience with us. We know that the reception area is untidy as we had flood damaged in our workshop and it has damaged completely upstairs and downstairs area as well as behind our working area.Currently the insurance company are doing the repairs and therefore we couldn't offer a nice and tidy reception area but we hope we will get a brand new nice and tidy reception soon. In regards to the diagnosis of your car, we did diagnose your car with the compatible scan tools and at the same time we did re-set your car's service reminder. Without scan tools - oil re-set cannot be done so therefore we definitely did connect the OBD connection on your car but I am happy to re-diagnose again for you without any cost, if you would like us to do so. Regarding tyre rotation, we found your front tyre a bit better than the rear one and it is good to have the better tyre at the front and therefore the tyre rotation hasn't been done but again I am happy to rotate the tyres with no cost. Regarding test drive, our mechanic did a test drive around the block which was less then a kilometer. We go for a longer drive if we have found something wrong but we found everything was fine with your car. Regarding the brand of the product, we just mentioned on the invoice about what grade oil we have used, but if you want I can re-write the invoice and send it to you? Apart from that, I am really sorry for all the inconvenience such as parking and the cleanliness of your key, card and invoice. We always try to provide our best service to our customers with the best price and our priority is to make our customers get the right service and make them happy.
