I received my online quote and made a booking based on the price and proximity to my house. As soon as I dropped off the car, I was told that the quote was incorrect and that it did not include required items such as battery replacement in my key fob and change of air filter, which increased the overall cost of the service by more than 25%. You could argue that they were forthright with telling me this before commencing the service, but I likely could have gotten a better deal elsewhere if this was included on the original quote. On top of this, it took 2 days for a simple 30000 km service. This is not entirely the fault of Bridgestone Select Penrith North, as their parts distributor kept sending the wrong part. Nevertheless, it detracted from the overall experience and is thus reflected in my rating. I will certainly hesitate before using Bridgestone Select Penrith North again. ... view more

Hi Johan, When you arrived I advised you that the quote that Autoguru had given you was different to what is required in our service system. I gave you the opportunity to have your air filter replaced and Key fob battery replaced as it was required in our system and had not been quoted by Autoguru. I also advised of the costs involved before hand and you agreed to do the work. As for the 2 day to do just a simple 30,000klm service it was out of my control and you were advised of this. We advised you that you could pick up the car and we could fit the air filter in the it the next day. You rang back and said don't worry I will pick up the car tomorrow.
