Ok where to start! Picked up the car all seemed ok! Drove home approx 3 mins away and garaged the car overnight. Next morning woke up to the garage floor drenched with engine oil! Took it back and they fixed it. How? Not sure Then throughout the day engine oil light comes up! Call them, to be told the mechanic noticed faulty sensor, however didn’t mention on his job report! Then later throughout the day the under engine bay cover falls off! And to top it off they insist my wife has run over “something for it to fall off” now everybody knows how high off the ground a q7 is! And apparently cannot find a replacement cover! Hi Yann, Sorry to hear about your experience, although i would like to correct some comments above. As discussed at the time of service in february (now may) we identified a faulty sump plug washer, which we replaced at the time of service. As discussed the following day, you advised there was a light on the dash, which we happily checked for you at no charge to find that the oil level sensor was logging a fault code. It was also discussed that the light was not on at the time of service. Also as discussed on the same day, you notified us that that particular light had been coming on in the past prior to being serviced which you thought the service would rectify. As it is a sensor issue, simply replaceing the oil will not fix this issue and requires a new oil level sensor. Following on from this discussion, we ordered a sensor in for you to replace, although after multiple attempts to contact you, we could not rectify this issue for you. In regards to the undertray also as discussed on the day, you explained to us that your wife reversed out from a carpark and found the tray laying under the vehicle, and upon inspection of the tray, had been broken from the rear of the tray, indicating that the only way it can break is if the rear of the tray was caught on something when reversing. All the screws were still present under the vehicle and still tight, indicating that it had been forcibly removed, not due to being left loose.
