Didn’t really get a detailed description of what was done, then a few days after the service the car broke down as a result of the mechanic not tightening the air filter which caused wrong fuel mixture and as result of that the check engine light came on. Wasn’t really impressed. ... view more

Hi Elizabeth, thanks for taking the time to review us. I'm sincerely sorry that we fell short of your expectations with the work we carried out on your Holden Epica, on Saturday, January 5th. With regards to your concerns about the lack of a detailed description regarding the work performed, I've reviewed the service invoice, which states that we carried out the 105,000 logbook service as booked, but I have noted that we failed to add the detailed description in the invoice's comments section regarding the additional work you requested concerning the electrical fault inside the cabin. As the vehicle was collected after hours, we also missed the opportunity to discuss fully with you the additional work that was performed. We have now made administrative changes to ensure that this type of miscommunication doesn't happen again, and I will email you an amended invoice that clarifies the work performed to repair the electrical fault. With regard to the vehicle breaking down following the service; our customer contact notes show that you called us on Friday, January 11th with concerns that the car wasn't running well, and we asked that you bring the vehicle back to us so that we could see what the issue was. We then gave you a follow up call on Monday January 14th where you explained to us that a hose came off the air filter assembly, which was the cause of the vehicle breaking down, and that the issue had now been rectified. While we would have liked to have been given the opportunity to check and rectify the problem for you, we do understand your frustration with having your car break down following the service we performed.
