1. Booking was there. My 3rd servicing booked with ABS. 2. Got a loan car - great. But very dusty & smelly inside. Can't complain - it's a loan car. 3. Got a call at about 3:45 that car was ready - great. 4. Cabin filter changed. Was supposed to get a call about it but did not. Not a real problem - I wasn't fussed about it. 5. Got in the car to go home, and found a sign saying "service due" lit up. Got a mechanic to reset it. Not too big a problem. 6. Didn't get a car wash as promised - very unhappy about this. 7. Reached home & checked if Car Service Log Book had been updated - NOT DONE. VERY UNHAPPY ABOUT THIS TOO. Now have to go back to get this updated. 8. Everything is a matter of trust. If one thing gets missed, no problem. If several things get missed then you wonder if other parts of the car service have been carried out. 9. Hopefully next time will be good (my glass is always half full and willing to give it a 2nd chance), if it repeats next time, will have to think twice about going back. Hi, firstly we thank you for your feedback. Your feedback is very valuable to us. I agree everything is a question of trust and we would like you to trust us. With regard to our loan vehicles, they do get clean periodically so I regret you found your vehicle unclean. Sometimes we rely on customers not smoking in the vehicles, but sometimes that just doesn't happen sometimes. We do however provide the vehicles as a courtesy to our clients. We agree that you should have been called before cabin filter is changed. We are not sure what happened in this case, whereby the call wasn't made. My guess is that it just slipped through the cracks. As a courtesy to yourself, we would like to offer your money back for the cabin filter. We also agree that the service light should have been extinguished before you got the keys. We would also like to offer you a car wash. This should have been done. We regret this and apologize. Please drop in to our workshop so that we can refund your cabin filter money, wash the vehicle and stamp the service book. This I can assure you is normal procedure for our workshop. But sadly in your case we must have let you down on this occasion. We offer no excuses but we did have a lot of work this day and we had the added inconveniences of being 2 mechanics down due to unforeseen illness.
