They seem competent enough for a basic service however I was quoted for a 200,000km logbook service which includes a timing belt check. This was not done but I was still charged the original quote. The reason given was that it was indicated that it was already done. It was done, about 3 years agowhen the head gasket was changed. I was not contacted to discus this and it was only mentioned in passing when I paid the bill. ... view more

Hi, Lochlan. Thank you for taking the time to write up feedback for us. I doubled-check again from two service manual sources and found that there is no 'timing belt check' service item for the 200,000km logbook service (there is 'check/adjust auxiliary drive belt', which we've done and the drive belt was OK). We took the extra step to discuss the timing belt change interval (should be done at 125,000km and then at 250,000) as there is no sticker indicating it's done before, and we want to make sure your car won't break down due to a snapped timing belt.
