Ssangyong Korando Brake system flush

Why is it important to get a Ssangyong Korando brake system flush?

One of the most overlooked components in a Ssangyong Korando service is the brake fluid.

This fluid transfers the pressure applied to the brake pedal and uses it to force the brake pads or shoes against the rotors or drums and allow the vehicle to slow down and stop.

If not changed at recommended intervals, this fluid can absorb moisture and other contaminants, which reduce its effectiveness – which, in simple terms, means your brakes won’t work as well as they should.

Carrying out a brake system flush will ensure they are operating as well as possible.

A full braking system flush on a Ssangyong Korando usually starts around the $80 mark and can increase to $120+.

The brake fluid is usually inspected/tested as part of a service and it's recommended to be replaced if a mechanic advises it needs to be done otherwise, it should be replaced at the specified interval time outlined in the Ssangyong Korando service guidelines.

Steve from S & V Automotive Mobile Mechanics. Very professional. Would not recommend a higher or greater service. Also being located down towards Condell Park. Came all the way out to Campbelltown to fix a centre bearing in my tail shaft and repair my blown head gasket. Awesome bloke. Highly recommended. Thanks Steve.

Found me a great mechanical workshop close by, with a month of days available. Fantastic. South Brisbane Mechanical are the loveliest guys, doing brilliant work - sorting out what was the matter (it wasn’t what another mechanic diagnosed). They explained everything, did lots of extras for dirt cheap, and only had my car 2 working days! I couldn’t be happier. They are a little tucked away down a street off Ipswich road, which puts them out of view, but they want your work - their minds and hands are waiting to solve your problems, affordable. Bless them.

Good people, great work. They definitely will be my number one mechanic I go to from now on.
