Yes. For logbook services, the service provider will sign and stamp your logbook to meet manufacturer requirements. If the service provider has not stamped your logbook, please contact them directly to arrange a time for them to stamp your logbook.

If you booked through AutoGuru and your booking has been confirmed, you can reschedule to a new date or time. Simply click the 'manage my booking' link on your booking confirmation email. If you’ve booked with a workshop, the service provider will usually require your vehicle for the entire day due to scheduling. If you’ve booked with a mobile provider, you will only be without your vehicle for the time it takes to complete the job. Find out more

When Do Toyota Driveshaft Centre Bearings Need to Be Replaced?

On some rear-wheel-drive trucks and SUVs, the driveshaft is unusually long. That can pose issues that include excessive stress, power loss, and damage due to impacts.

If your Toyota has a driveshaft centre bearing it takes much of the stress off your rear driveshaft and universal joints.

The solution is a two-part driveshaft using a centre support bearing. The driveshaft centre bearing allows for reliable shaft rotation as a pivot point, fastened securely to the Toyota's frame.

The driveshaft centre bearing is comprised of an external metal structure that fastens to the underside of the frame. A highly durable ball bearing assembly is mounted inside a rubber or polyurethane bushing, contained within the metal structure. This rubber bushing helps eliminate vibration and excessive wear.

When the driveshaft centre bearing starts to fail you may notice:
