Fiat Freemont Front Brake Pad and Rotor Replacement

Why do you need to replace Fiat Freemont front brake pads and rotors?

The front brakes on your Fiat Freemont are crucial as they provide the most stopping power when you use the brakes. Due to varying driving conditions, the longevity of front brake pads and disc rotors can differ, with replacements typically required every 40,000 to 80,000km of driving. It's important to monitor the wear of your brake pads to ensure safety on the road.

The starting price for replacing your front brake pads and disc rotors is around $500 on average. However, this price can vary and may increase to over $700, depending on factors such as the specific brake components utilised and the complexity of the replacement process.

When the brake pads of a Fiat Freemont vehicle near the end of their lifespan, they may start to produce a high-pitched screeching noise when you apply the brakes. Additionally, you might feel a noticeable shudder or vibration through the steering wheel or brake pedal upon braking. Continuing to drive with worn-out brakes below the legal thickness can lead to increased braking distances, compromised emergency stops, and even the potential scenario of complete brake failure.

Shout out to Matt who fixes my car. It was for a Holder Barina Camshaft Position Error (P0340) error. During the service, he noticed other stuff that needed attention like the host of my coolant ending its life, throttle condition, and spark plug. He was able to help me how I can deal with that other problem. Easy to talk to, arrived on time, explained what he was doing, and gave insights into the car and how to take care of it.

Senni is an excellent mechanic, transparent and reliable. Opted to assess my vehicle over 2 days to properly diagnose as opposed to blind guess work as to what the issue may be. Highly recommended and cannot offer any criticism.
