Average rating for Ignition switch replacement
5.0 • based on 1 review of 1 business
The ignition system plays the important role in being able to start a Holden Colorado. An integral part of the ignition system is the ignition switch. The ignition switch or starter switch is typically located on the steering column and is activated when you turn the key or push a button to start a Holden Colorado.
When you turn the key on your Holden Colorado, the ignition switch kicks the electrical system into gear so you can use the power windows, stereo and other accessories and it also powers the starter motor which is needed to crank over the engine.
If you get in the Holden Colorado and it won't start and doesn't make any noise when trying to start it or the engine is running but it stalls and you can't restart the car, then you may have a faulty ignition switch.
Over time the ignition switch can fail, the contacts and components can wear or break. If you notice difficulty starting the Holden Colorado and you have to jiggle the key around in the lock to get it working then get it inspected. The last thing you want is your Holden Colorado to stall while you're driving.
The ignition switch on your Holden Colorado can wear out or simply fail suddenly and need to be replaced – that’s why you should be familiar with AutoGuru!

Mobile Auto Works
Was very quick and also showed me the issues with why my car was having problems. Would recommend this service to all friends and family.
Supercheap Mobile Mechanic
Unfortunately, I had a very negative experience with Supercheap Mobile Mechanic brake repair service. Here are the problems I faced: Failure to meet schedule: Originally, we had agreed on a date for the brake repair, but the mechanic did not show up on the scheduled day. Instead, he showed up the next day. This was a big disappointment and disrespectful to me as a customer, as I trusted his professionalism to receive the best. Subsequent installation problems: Shortly after installation, I began to notice a strange noise in the left rear brake pad. This turned out to be a problem due to a bad installation. I had to go to another mechanic to fix the problem, which meant additional expense and a lot of hassle. In summary, the lack of timeliness, poor quality of the brakes installed, and the subsequent problems due to poor installation mean that I cannot recommend Supercheap mobile's services at all.
