Yes. For logbook services, the service provider will sign and stamp your logbook to meet manufacturer requirements. If the service provider has not stamped your logbook, please contact them directly to arrange a time for them to stamp your logbook.

If you booked through AutoGuru and your booking has been confirmed, you can reschedule to a new date or time. Simply click the 'manage my booking' link on your booking confirmation email. If you need help email contactus@autoguru.com.au. If you cancel or don't show up and don't reschedule (and you have prepaid in advance), a $20 cancellation fee will apply.

If you’ve booked with a workshop, the service provider will usually require your vehicle for the entire day due to scheduling. If you’ve booked with a mobile provider, you will only be without your vehicle for the time it takes to complete the job. Find out more

Mazda Link Rod (Link Pin or Sway Bar Link) Replacement

Have you ever wondered how a Mazda, or any car for that matter, manages to so easily stay on all four wheels when it’s driven around a corner?

Included amongst the wonderful components of a Mazda’s suspension system, there is a device called the sway bar (also known as a stabiliser bar or anti-roll bar) which works to prevent body roll.

If your Mazda is clunking from around the wheels, the tyres are wearing unevenly and the steering is loose, then there is a good chance there is a suspension problem and it could be coming from your Mazda’s link rods.

It is recommended to replace the left and right side link rods at the same time. Your Mazda will be noisy and will become harder to control on cornering when there is a problem with the link rod.

If left for too long, tyres can wear too and replacing tyres can be more expensive than replacing the link rod. Best to replace a link rod as soon as you can to make sure your Mazda is handling well.

If the link rods do need to be replaced this will cost around $100 to $300 depending on your Mazda's model. This price is for replacing a pair as it is recommended to replace the left and right side at the same time.
