Honda Panel replacement

How Do I Replace a Panel on My Honda?

Panel replacement involves replacing certain panels on your Honda, due to them being damaged beyond repair. In other circumstances, panels can be replaced to change the look of your car or increase the performance of your car by fitting panels that are lighter in weight.

If you think you might need a panel replacement on your Honda, be sure to see a panel repair expert to get a second opinion. They’ll be able to quickly inform you of your options, and if your Honda does end up needing to have a panel replacement, they will also be able to easily source the appropriate one.

Replacing a panel is generally pretty straightforward but can vary depending on whether you get a second hand one or a brand new replacement.

If you get a secondhand one the same colour as your Honda, it should just be a simple process of removing the damaged panel and installing the replacement. If you get a brand new panel, it might not have paint on it at all, so you’ll need to get it painted and colour matched to the rest of your Honda. Depending on how old it is, your Honda most likely has slightly faded paint, so keep in mind that it’ll be extremely hard to exactly match the paint up.

The new panel will most likely be painted before it’s installed on your Honda, and then once it’s on some additional paint correction and paint matching will take place.

Any smash repair business will be able to help you out with a panel replacement. They can assess the damage and depending on your budget, will be able to suggest the most appropriate course of action to get your Honda looking as good as new.

I got my Mazda6 engine mount replaced with AMM and I am very satisfied with the experience. Jamie from AMM reached my place at the given time and the work was finished within 1 hr. Keep it up guys.

Great to be dropped back home after dropping off the car this is very convenient. Received a phone call few hours later to say work was taking longer than planned and it may not be ready same day and may need additional equipment to fix the problem and they would keep me updated. Unfortunately the next I heard was the repairs had been done and the cost of repair was considerably higher than my quote. I was initially very angry at this. Perry called me and he explained all the extra work he had to do, he also reduced the price and was prepared to drop the car back to my house and get an Uber back to the garage. He also done some additional work at no extra charge. The overall service was good, just the lack of communicating a much higher charge to me and therefore coming as a shock was what upset me.
