If you’ve booked with a workshop, the service provider will usually require your vehicle for the entire day due to scheduling. If you’ve booked with a mobile provider, you will only be without your vehicle for the time it takes to complete the job. Find out more

Does My Holden Transmission Speed Sensor Need to Be Replaced?

The transmission speed sensor, sometimes called a vehicle speed sensor (VSS) is responsible for working out what speed your Holden is doing. It then sends the speed information to the engine control unit (your car's brain) and from there, depending on if your Holden is manual or automatic, it can determine which gear you should be in, your ignition timing and fuel injection settings.
