First up no loan car ready as discussed the day before, had to put all my plans on hold, owner could not care less. Car went in for 60000km log book service and was not serviced as per the log book, the pollen filter was not replaced (owner stated its a genuine item only) Coolant flush was part of the service I wanted, but found out all they did is undo the bottom radiator hose and filled it up with tap water and charged me $100 !!!! But the best part was they damaged the clip or hose they flushing the radiator and charged me for the leak they created. When I got the car home I found an interior screw in the centre console and a hose clamp in the engine bay. Called up the owner at Goodyear to find out where the screw came from, he could not tell me but said his mechanic would have used spare screws to replace the one i had (yeah right!!). So for $420 I got an oil change and filter change and had dirty tap water put into my radiator which will corrode the radiator even more. Do yourself a favor send $80 at supercheap and do it yourself, less stress. I will not be going to them again, they are only interested in getting as many cars in the garage at one time. owner booked a service through internet website fixed price service and the log book service was carried out as per the fixed price service schedule after looking in the holden log book there was nothing different we needed to do and this was explained to the customer , the pollen filter is a dealer option fitted item as stated in the log book and extra parts were required to secure the pollen filter in place this again was explained to the customer , prior to the coolant flush we noticed that the heater hose was leaking from the original hose clamp which is a factory fitted use once only type clamp we took pics to show the owner and we did not damage the clamp we put a new clamp on i explained we are not in the habit of damaging customers cars , we did a coolant flush of the engine and we do not put dirty tap water in the vehicle the plastic clip we left in the car was excess clip we replace clips under dash as we had to remove the glove box to inspect fitment of pollen filter and often these frail clips break and that is why we replace them at no cost to owner as for the the price of the service we dont set the price this was booked via the internet and the service he requested is only a oil and filter service , while i dont normally comment on issues with customers i will say that some customers expect they are getting a major service and all extras when had they read what they purchased in the first place and understood that the 75,000klm service log book is ONLY A OIL AND FILTER ... view more
