Specialist Auto kept to the agreed price but the service was horrid, specifically a guy named Josh. He was rude, arrogant and had a superiority complex. Couldn't answer a question without making you feel like a fool for not knowing. Disgusted by his "customer service" skills. The also claimed we didn't have a loan car booked, were able to provide one anyway but I wonder if that was a communications error or them just trying to get out of it. We also were presented with the option of a freewheel front and back tyre rotation which was apparently forgotten, and I can't find any indicator of the free Scantool Diagnostic test being carried out. Overall, I wouldn't recommend their services unless you're desperate. Not sure how they've managed to accrue such a high rating based off of my experience. ... view more

Good Afternoon Georgia, It disappoints me that you received perceived poor service from Hobart branch. I have spoken to staff and it would appear from the outset there are some communication issues that require clarification between AutoGuru and workshops around services provided. You were given a loan car FOC on request even thought the online booking does not specifically book a vehicle. I do not have a Josh on staff so perhaps you are referring to an AutoGuru employee?. Tyre rotation and balance is offered as a free service but is carried out on tyre wear merit rather than regardless of merit. On this occaision my senior tech did not rotate due to feathering on the rear tyres compared to the front. Free scan tool diagnosis was definitely carried in order to reset service indicator as per invoice notes.
